The GEMMA Consortium is glad to inform about the celebration next week of the 1st GEMMA Employer-bility Event on April 7-8, 2025.
The main objective of this event (which we hope will became an annual event) is to generate a formative space about employability issues for our students from all GEMMA partners.
During the first day, we have organised two roundtables about employability in which speakers (including GEMMA alumni), representing the four main employability areas of our programme - academia, public sector, private sector and NGOs - will offer relevant information about the different professional paths available after finishing the Master's degree and will debate on the challenges that our students may encounter during their career.
All the sessions will be open to the main public (until seating capacity) with the exception of the networking lunch which is only for registered participants.
During the second day of the event, there will be three workshops for our GEMMA students in which they will be provided with practical tools for job search and for developing specific skills to improve their employability, facilitating their access to the labour market after graduation.
These workshops are for GEMMA enrolled students only and they are not open to the general public.
Representatives of the different GEMMA Consortium universities as well as some of our industrial partners will participate in the event.
One of the main expected results of this event is the elaboration of the GEMMA Employer-bility Guide which will be published in a specific section about employability of our website.
This event is organised by the coordination of the GEMMA Master's Degree in collaboration with the Women's and Gender Studies Institute and the Vice- Rectorate for Social Innovation, Employability and Entrepreneurship of the University of Granada.
It is funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ programme, as well as by the Vice- Rectorate for Social Innovation, Employability and Entrepreneurship through a specific programme created to finance the organisation of activities for career guidance and employability of our students.
