We are glad to share with the GEMMA community that our Professor Margarita Birriel (University of Granada) and her team have been awarded the Medialab Prize for Scientific Dissemination for the TRAMA project: women's jobs in Modern Andalusia, a research and knowledge transfer project about Andalusian women's economic contribution between 1450 and 1808.
Last Friday June 6th, the award ceremony was held on the "Salón de Rectores" Conference Room of the Hospital Real, chaired by Pedro Mercado Pacheco, Rector of the University of Granada.
Enrique Herrera Viedma, Vice-Rector for Research and Knowledge Transfer; Sergio Navas Concha, Director for Research and President of the jury; and Marta Morillas Fernández, Director of the Secretariat of the UGR Research and Knowledge Transfer Fund (PPIT) also attended the ceremony.
