All the hands of the sisters we met, we will meet and we will never see
We invite you to visit the interactive exhibition "Women fighting", taking place from the 29th of May to the 2nd of June at the Faculty of Arts in Cartuja campus, organised by the Colectiva Espigadoras comprised by GEMMA Granada students.
Standing from the forgotten, the residual and the broken we want to put the pieces back together, to make art. The collage " Women fighting" invites you to build collectively, to own the space, to put into words what has only been collected in fiction, to acknowledge our experiences as well as all hands of all the sister that have accompanied us in the process.
Recognizing our diverse daily lives, the elements that are part of them, the scenes from our lives. This is how "Scenes from a feminist life" came into being. This art installation invites you to engage with feminist literary canons, revisiting realities that go beyond what history has told us.
Consisting of the "Women fighting" collage and the "Scenes from a feminist life" installation of feminist artivism, this exhibition aims to acknowledge our struggles, to break the wall that separates the academy from the street, to make art, art that seeks justice.
